about marie-christine

Marie discovered the practices of mindful movement and meditation when living on Vancouver Island in the late 2000s. She has since continued to nurture healing and self-discovery by practicing yoga, forest therapy, mindfulness and ecstatic dance.

With Marie, you can expect playful, accessible classes with a lot of options and variations along with encouragement to connect with and listen to your body.

Marie is a graduate of Carly Stong’s body positive, trauma informed yoga teacher training (RYT200) and of Liz Diaz’s Women’s Circle & Dance Temple Facilitator training. In April 2021, she will obtain her certification as a Forest Therapy Guide with the Association of Nature and Forest Therapy.

Marie is so grateful to be part of the uplifting and supportive Mindful Life Practice Community to safely bring people together in movement and community. She can’t wait to see you on the mat and on the dance floor!
