MINDFUL ALIVE

PRANAYAMA

In Mindful Alive, we will mindfully and intentionally control our breathing patterns using different techniques. Breathing in a conscious and systematic way not only offers many physical benefits but also helps to shift our focus and awareness inwards and regulate our state of mind.

MINDFUL LET GO

YIN/RESTORATIVE

Mindful Let Go is slow. It is an introspective practice in stillness and patience. We will hold seated and supine yin or restorative postures for a long duration of time, getting a deep stretch for the tissues and releasing tension from the body. We will tap into the parasympathetic nervous system, becoming more resilient to stress. After the stillness of this practice, you’ll leave feeling calmer, balanced and restored.

MINDFUL EMPOWER

POWER VINYASA

Mindful Empower is ideally for those who have practiced yoga before. It is an intermediate level class and still accessible to all levels, but kicked up a notch from regular Mindful Flow. Expect some arm balance exploration and challenging poses. You can do it!

MINDFUL FLOW AND LET GO

VIN & YIN/ SLOW FLOW & RESTORE

The first half of Mindful Flow and Let Go is a more dynamic vinyasa inspired sequence of postures with the objective of building heat and moving energy. The second half is focused on yin or restorative postures: an introspective practice in stillness and patience. We will hold seated and supine yin or restorative postures for a long duration of time, getting a deep stretch for the tissues and releasing tension from the body. This practice balances the yin and the yang and you’ll leave here feeling centered.

MINDFUL STRONG

PILATES/CORE

Mindful Strong is inspired by pilates and core yoga classes. It is a low-impact class that targets the core - giving the whole body a workout in a controlled and precise manner. It focuses on body alignment and core strengthening, which allows us to move efficiently while improving posture, flexibility and mobility.

MINDFUL ANCHOR 

MEDITATION

In Mindful Anchor, you will be guided to explore the mind with meditation practices. Developing a regular meditation ritual will help you navigate chaos from a calmer, more centred place.

MINDFUL MANTRAS

MANTRA CHANTING

In chanting, sacred mantras are repeated rhythmically, in succession, out loud. The powerful vibrations created with this chanting serves as an instrument helping us come back to the deepest place within ourselves, the place where we are most awake and alive. Chanting is often the most direct and immediate way to reconnect us with these places.

 

Come and join us in Mindful mantras to experience the power of chanting and open ourselves to harmony, peace and love.

MINDFUL FLOW 1 & 2

GENTLE/BEGINNERS/ VINYASA

Mindful Flow  is strong, fluid and dynamic. Similar to vinyasa style of yoga, this class links movement with breath, and breath with movement. This is an active and challenging class, however it will be easily modified and accessible to all levels. Yoga is not supposed to look good, it's supposed to feel good - so move in the way that feels good for your body today!

MINDFUL SWEAT

BARRE/TABATA

Join us for uplifting music, a fun vibe and a good sweat! Inspired by the fitness of Barre and the atmosphere of a Bar! After a yoga-inspired warm-up, we will move into power mode - toning and strengthening the body with functional movement exercises set to upbeat music. Depending on the theme, there may be a yoga flow interlude or a cardio burst, with low impact options offered. We'll seamlessly transition into a powerful core section, and then a mindful stretch at the end. You'll leave having strengthened and stretched your body, and centered your mind.

 

A chair or countertop in place of a Barre is highly recommended for balance and support. Light weights are optional but encouraged, and you may also like to have yoga blocks handy.
