After a yoga-inspired warm-up, we will move into barre mode - toning and strengthening the body with functional movement exercises. We'll seamlessly transition into a powerful yoga flow, a core section, and then a mindful moment in savasana. You'll leave having strengthend and stretched the body, and centered the mind.
Pilates is a low-impact form of exercise that gives the whole body a workout in a controlled and precise manner.
It focuses on body alignment and core strengthening which allows to move efficiently while improving posture, flexibility and mobility.
Slow Flow is a class that challenges us to find strength in stillness and mindfulness in movement. A slow-paced class that will focus on building awareness within our mind and body. By holding both active and passive postures for a longer period of time, we can improve our alignment, increase our muscle memory, and build strength as we cultivate an internal heat through a flow of familiar yoga postures. This class is great for beginners that are learning the postures as well as experienced practitioners that are looking to deepen their practice!
VIN & YIN
This all-levels class offers a variety of options for each pose, to allow everyone to meet on their mat, wherever they are on their journey. The first half will be a more dynamic-inspired sequencing of postures with the objective of moving energy and building heat. The second half will be focused on yin postures: poses that are held for 3-5 minutes in a super supported fashion to help everyone connect to a softer and gentler practice to release tension and improve flexibility, articulations of joints and so much more.
Yoga HIIT is a combination of yoga and HIITY. This class is combined with upbeat music that will help you push through your practice. You'll experience a full body, cardio workout that takes vinyasa yoga as a starting point.
We offer various meditations at the MLPC - mindfulness meditations, inner truth meditations, visualization meditations, etc. Give them a whirl and see how it goes!
This class is for people who have practice yoga before. It is an intermediate level class and still accessible to all levels, but kicked up a notch from regular vinyasa. Expect arm balance exploration and challenging poses. You can do it!
Yin yoga is slow. It is an introspective practice in stillness and patience. We will hold seated and supine postures for a long duration of time, getting a deep stretch for the tissues and releasing tension from the body.

Foam rolling is a form of self myofascial release, which is basically a self massage. Fascia is the thin-tissue that connects our muscles - kind of like the glue that holds the insides of our body together. Just like a massage, foam rolling help breaks the tissue and release tension.
This class is great for beginners. In this class Hug will teach you the basic poses of yoga and lead you through a simple flow. She will then guide you through pranayama, which are breathing practices to help center the mind and channel energy flow within the body.
This class is similar to yin, however all of the poses will be restful and relaxing. Expect to tap into the parasympathetic nervous system and recharge and restore.
Vinyasa yoga is strong, fluid and dynamic. Our vinyasa practice links movement with breath, and breath with movement. This is an active and challenging class, however it will be easily modified and accessible to all levels. Yoga is not supposed to look good, it's supposed to feel good - so move in a way that feels good for your body!
