Founded in 2020, The Mindful Life Practice offers online programs, international retreats around the world, and in-person Yoga Teacher Trainings in Bali at our shala, Mindful Bali. Every experience we offer is designed to help you move beyond the surface of yoga into its true purpose: the stilling of the mind’s fluctuations and the awakening of your truest Self.

Meet our Founder, Alexandra McRobert (500 Hr E-RYT)

Alexandra McRobert is the founder of The Mindful Life Practice, a global community where yoga, sobriety, and mindfulness meet. What began as a personal journey of transformation in 2019 grew into a thriving online platform that has supported thousands of people worldwide in living more intentional, alcohol-free lives.

Alexandra first fell in love with yoga as a tool for healing and self-discovery in 2010. Over the years, her path as a teacher has expanded from leading local classes in Canada, Kuwait, Abu Dhabi and Bali, to building a vibrant online community, guiding yoga philosophy study groups, and offering support for women on alcohol-free journeys. Her vision has always been to make the wisdom of yoga accessible to modern life—whether through daily practices, deep study, or supportive connection.

Today, Alexandra hosts retreats around the world and leads immersive 200-hour and 300-hour Yoga Teacher Trainings in Bali at her shala, Mindful Bali, blending ancient teachings with practical tools for modern transformation. At the heart of everything she offers is the belief that yoga is not just a practice on the mat, but a way of life—a path of connection, clarity, and authentic living.
