Sober curious yoga classes are only for folks on a sober curious journey. They include a 15-minute check-in, which is an opportunity to share how you are doing on your alcohol free journey, followed by a yoga practice.

  • An in-depth exploration of the health benefits of sobriety

  • How to create a gratitude practice and why it's important

  • Our compassionate approach to slips

....After that, we'll go deeper into cultivating joy, letting go, and dating in sobriety... 

Week 3
Sacral Chakra:
Sober Joy Surrounds Me. 

  • Step by step guide to the sacral chakra and how to balance it

  • Reconnection to childhood fun

  • Planting "Survive to Thrive" seeds around partners and relationships 

  • Creating a "job description" for the ideal partner in our lives (can be to attract one or to spark conversations with current partner on expectations, roles and relationship dynamics)

Solar Plexus Chakra: Sobriety Empowers Me.

  • Survive to Thrive seed planting around physical environment, finances, and work life

  • Strategies for decluttering physical environment

  • Calculation of money saved in sobriety and plan for money saved

Week 5
Heart Chakra: I Forgive Myself and Others.

  • Identify what it means to practice self-love.

  • Learn about the heart chakra and how to bring it into balance.

  • Reflect on our friendships in sobriety and how to manage our changing friendship dynamics. 

  • Revisit the SAFS and planted seeds around family and friends.

  • Look into our past and present family dynamics around alcohol. 

  • Reflect on “showing up” - what showing up means for us, and how we can show up for our friends and family in sobriety.

Week 6
Throat Chakra:
Alcohol Free Me is Authentic Me

  • Reflect on our authentic selves - which parts we're good at expressing, and which we need to explore expressing.

  • Reflect on who and what has inspired creativity within us.

Week 7
Third Eye Chakra: I trust my Dry Intuition.

  • We will plant seeds around Life Purpose.

  • We will learn about the third eye chakra and how to balance itWe will define what life purpose means to us.

  • We will reflect on several questions about life purpose.

  • We will write a life mission statement.

  • We will write a life vision statement.

...And Last, we'll look into mental health and spirituality.

Week 8
Crown Chakra:
Sober,I am Whole. 

  • We will plant seeds around spirituality.

  • We will learn about the crown chakra and how to balance it.

  • We will reflect on the role of spirituality in our lives and practice a spirituality check-in.

  • We will learn about mental health and yoga.

  • We will set goals around our mental health.

  • We will reflect on the eight weeks in Sober Curious Yoga School - our takeaways, insights, small wins and big wins.

  • We will decide how to integrate what we learned into our lives as we move forward.
