Come Home to Yourself
One-to-One Sober (& Sober Curious) Meditation Training with Alexandra
Stop Drinking By Starting Meditating.
Learn How to Meditate, & Develop a Daily Yoga & Meditation Practice. Allow the philosophy of yoga to inspire and support your alcohol-free life.

Sober Meditation Training & Coaching
Perhaps you’ve been questioning your relationship with alcohol for a while. Perhaps you’re ready to stop drinking, but you want support with the habits, feelings, and everyday situations that come with that choice.
You want space to understand yourself, learn new ways of responding, and build a life that supports the change you’re making.

This is an invitation to work with me personally.
Across ten private sessions, we’ll combine meditation training, compassionate coaching, and teachings from Patanjali’s Yoga Sutras. Alongside our sessions, you’ll take part in my 60-day yoga challenge and have access to on-demand yoga to support your practice at home.
Your experience will shape our work together. Your questions, your challenges, and what matters to you.

The Structure:
During the first week of working together, we will meet three days in a row for my signature "How to Meditate" workshop. After that, we will meet once a week for seven weeks to support you in maintaining your meditation practice.
Each week, we’ll meditate together for 20 minutes, then explore what has come up in your practice and everyday life. Drawing on Patanjali’s Yoga Sutras, we’ll connect each theme with your experience of building an alcohol-free life.

Week 1 — Vrittis: Understanding the movements of the mind
Begin noticing thoughts, memories, and mental narratives. Explore the stories surrounding alcohol and practise observing your mind with curiosity.

Week 2 — Kleshas: Exploring the roots of suffering
Explore the five kleshas and reflect on attachment, aversion, identity, and the ways we seek comfort or avoid discomfort.

Week 3 — Yama: How we relate to the world
Explore non-harming, truthfulness, non-stealing, moderation, and non-grasping. Reflect on relationships, boundaries, and choices that support your alcohol-free intentions.

Week 4 — Niyama: How we cultivate our inner life
Explore cleanliness, contentment, disciplined effort, self-study, and surrender. Consider how these observances can inform your routines and your relationship with yourself.

Week 5 — The Eight Limbs of Yoga: Bringing the path together
Explore how ethics, posture, breath, withdrawal of the senses, concentration, meditation, and absorption form an interconnected path. Reflect on how yoga can become part of daily life beyond the mat.

Week 6 — Karma & Gunas: Understanding action and the qualities of nature
Reflect on actions, consequences, and habitual patterns. Explore sattva, rajas, and tamas through your experience of clarity, activity, and inertia, and consider the conditions that support your practice.

Week 7 — Samyama, Parinamas & Liberation: Exploring transformation and freedom
Introduce samyama - the combined practice of concentration, meditation, and absorption - and explore Patanjali’s teachings on transformation and liberation.

These teachings offer a framework for exploration. We’ll follow your questions and experiences,.
