About the event
Over four Wednesdays, we’ll explore the first four sutras of Patañjali’s Yoga Sūtras, spending one class with each teaching. Together, they invite us into the practice of yoga, the quieting of the mind, and the possibility of resting in our own true nature.
Each class begins with a short dharma talk and chanting, allowing the sound and meaning of the Sanskrit to guide us into practice. From there, we’ll move through a gentle, mindful flow before settling into long, supported yin shapes. There will be time to notice how the teaching meets us in the body, the breath, and our changing inner landscape.
Following asana, you’ll be guided into a 20-minute silent mantra meditation, offering space for the sutra to settle. We’ll close with a reflective journal prompt and an optional group discussion to share insights, questions, and experiences.
This series is an invitation to spend time with the sutras—to…
