ABOUT OUR PROGRAM
YOGA & ENTREPRENEURSHIP YOGA TEACHER TRAINING
For years and years, what I wanted, more than anything, was to leave my job as a school teacher in Abu Dhabi and teach yoga full time. But I didn't know how to make it into a business and where to start. In 2020, when covid hit, I ended up being forced to move my work online. And that's when I realized that through hard work, dedication, and digital marketing - I could create a world for myself of freedom, joy, and peace. Fast forward to 2024, and I'm now a full time yoga teacher - leading retreats, and trainings, and online courses - while having the freedom to travel around the world. I feel like most Yoga Teacher Trainings are lacking these practical skills - and I want to support you in getting to that place - through everything I learned - which is why I developed this Online Yoga Entrepreneurship Training. This course can be done on it's own, or as part of our 300 Hour Advanced Yoga Teacher Training.

ABOUT OUR PROGRAM
WHAT IS THIS Program About?
Most Yoga Teacher Trainings miss the key business skills needed to develop a successful, thriving business in Yoga - and many yoga teachers don't innately have this business background and practical skills - which is why so many yoga teachers are struggling to make ends meet. I was able to build my business quickly and quit my job as a school teacher - and now my business earns more revenue than I did as a teacher. Because my business is not dependent on teaching in a physical studio, I'm able to have freedom to travel around the world - which I do often. In this yoga teacher training, we will specifically focus on business building skills - digital marketing strategies, website creation, podcast networking, and more. Whilst I can't guarantee the success of your business, I can guarantee that I will give you the skills and the mentorship to grow. You have to put in the hard work and follow through to continue to develop.

WHAT WILL YOU
Learn?
​During this class we will:

Spend time diving into what your niche is, and develop an avatar, and unique offering.

Learn some of the business practicalities like developing a website, using canva, creating reels and designing an online program for your ideal clients.

Spend time with Alex learning the networking and marketing skills she used to develop her business.

This class is suitable for Yoga Teachers, as well as anyone interested in building a heart centred business (such as coaching, online counselling, and more!) It will count as a 50 Hour YTT Credit towards our 300 Hour Advanced Yoga Teacher Training.​
WHAT YOU'RE LEARNING
Module 1
DISCOVERY
During the first module of the Yoga and Entrepreneurship program, we'll focus on discovery. Every-other-week will be a workshop with Alex, and every-other-week will be a hot seat coaching call, with each person receiving 10 minutes of "hot seat" coaching. Topics in the first two months of workshops include:

A meditation to find your ideal client

An activity to find your unique offering and gift (MAP Design)

Basics on building a website (Wix is my area of expertise!)

YOUR TEACHER
MEET YOUR GUIDE, Alex
Alex is a 500 Hour Registered Yoga Teacher, Certified Life Coach, entrepreneur, podcaster, and Ontario Certified Teacher. Since a very young age, she was drawn to yoga as a way to calm her mind and manage an undiagnosed mood disorder. She began practicing yoga daily at the age of eighteen and completed her first 200 Hour Yoga Teacher Training in 2014 at Yandara Yoga Institute in Mexico. In 2017, she completed her 300 Hour Yoga Teacher Training at Zuna Yoga in Bali.
Since then, she has taught yoga internationally, and she now resides in Bali, Indonesia. Alex has participated in several additional trainings, including Yoga Workshop Design for Teachers with Rolf Gates, Prenatal and Postnatal Yoga, Yoga for Kids and Trauma Informed Yoga.
