Jo Walduck

Jo is crawling into her late 30s, swapping 15 years of city life in Paris and Lyon for a quieter, gentler rhythm by the seaside in Normandy. After burning out from teaching in 2018, she retrained as a business and life coach, then got sober just before the pandemic and has since added recovery coaching as a specialty in addition to focussing on queer and feminist issues. Her recovery has encompassed her own transition, grief, and navigation of life with a chronic illness. She is committed to accessibility, diversity and inclusivity in the connecting worlds of recovery and yoga, whether based on background, race, gender, sexuality, body shape or physical ability.
